Dreamville Tomorrowland Camping Guide 2026: Everything You Need To Know

· ·

Dreamville is Tomorrowland’s legendary camping village – a temporary city of approximately 35,000 People of Tomorrow that exists adjacent to the festival grounds. Having camped at Dreamville for 10 consecutive years in Magnificent Greens, Easy Tents, and Montagoe, I’ve experienced every level of Tomorrowland camping. This complete Dreamville camping guide will tell you everything you need to know about Tomorrowland accommodation options, facilities, costs, and how to make the most of your Dreamville experience.

What is Dreamville?

Dreamville is the official Tomorrowland camping area – the entire camping grounds of Tomorrowland. It is adjacent to the festival grounds but completely separate. Hotel guests and day ticket holders cannot access Dreamville – they can only enter the festival itself. To access Dreamville, you need a “Magnificent Greens” camping package with your Tomorrowland festival ticket.

Think of Dreamville Tomorrowland as three separate camping neighborhoods: Magnificent Greens (regular camping), Easy Tents (pre-setup Tomorrowland tents), and Montagoe (glamping). Each has its own entrance and access rules, which I’ll explain below.

Dreamville’s Three Main Areas

Access Rules

This is crucial to understand before booking. Dreamville has separate camping areas and you will not be able to access every area.

  • Magnificent Greens (regular camping) guests can ONLY access Magnificent Greens
  • Magnificent Greens guests CANNOT access Easy Tents or Montagoe
  • Easy Tent guests can access Easy Tents AND Magnificent Greens
  • Montagoe guests can access Montagoe AND Magnificent Greens
  • Easy Tent guests CANNOT access Montagoe area
  • Montagoe guests CANNOT access Easy Tent area

What this means: If you have friends camping in Easy Tents and you’re in Montagoe, you cannot visit each other’s tents. You’ll need to meet outside those areas or inside the shared Magnificent Greens area. Plan accordingly when booking with your group!

Why Stay in Dreamville?

Before diving into accommodation options, let’s talk about why Dreamville is the ultimate way to experience Tomorrowland. People often ask why they should camp at Tomorrowland. Personally, I wouldn’t do Tomorrowland any other way. Its the full experience, and conveniently the closest you can get to the festival.

Walking Distance to the Festival – When the festival ends at 1:00am (12:00am on Sunday), you’re steps away from your bed. No trains, no shuttle buses, no taxis, no extra long walks. While there is a walk back to some camping areas, it’s nothing compared to the time and hassle of getting back to hotel shuttles. The walk to shuttles plus the shuttle ride back to Brussels, or the walk to the Boom train station and subsequent train to Antwerp, can take hours. From Dreamville, even the furthest tent is closer than dealing with that. Dreamville attendees can also return to their tents during the day to recharge if they want, something not possible for those staying in Brussels or Antwerp.

The Gathering – This is a huge plus. All Dreamville residents get exclusive access to The Gathering, Tomorrowland’s official opening party on Thursday night. With past performances from world-class DJs like Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Tiesto and more. It’s essentially a fourth day of the festival, exclusive to Dreamville guests. While hotel guests now have the Invite Brussels pre-party event in Brussels but it pales in comparison to The Gathering.

It’s a Complete City – Dreamville is more than camping. It’s a vibrant temporary town with marketplace, restaurants, bars, gym with classes, tennis and pickleball courts, hair salon, tattoo parlour, BBQ areas, daily shows and entertainment, and more. You wake up to the Tomorrowland newspaper being delivered each morning by paper boys on bikes. The marching band strolls around Dreamville playing tunes and pumping up the crowds in the morning before leading the procession to the festival at 1:00pm every day. It’s total immersion.

Meet People from Around the World – The communal atmosphere means you’ll make friends from every corner of the globe. The connections you make are unforgettable. I’ve made friends from many different countries from over the years and loved every minute of it.

Dreamville Tomorrowland Accommodation Options Explained

All Dreamville packages include a Full Madness Pass (3-day festival access) and 5 days of Dreamville access (Thursday check-in through Monday checkout). Let’s break down every Tomorrowland camping option available.

Section #1: Magnificent Greens (Regular Tomorrowland Camping Area)

Magnificent Greens is the largest section of Dreamville and the heart of the Tomorrowland camping experience. This area includes the marketplace with shops, camping areas, showers, food vendors, and The Gathering stage for the Thursday pre-party.

Magnificent Greens – Bring Your Own Tent

📅 Price: Starting around €410-€480 per person including festival tickets (Global Journey is extra)
🏕️ What You Get: A spot in the general camping area
👥 Best For: Budget-conscious travelers who don’t mind roughing it and looking for the best atmosphere
🔌 Power: No power outlets (power banks available for rent)
🔒 Storage: No locker included (can purchase separately)

This is the most basic and affordable Dreamville option. You bring your own tent and camping gear, find a spot (first-come, first-served), and set up wherever you can.

What’s Included:

  • Space to pitch your tent
  • Access to all Magnificent Greens facilities including The Gathering
  • Can bring your own tent size (The official limits are 2.40×2.00m for 2 people, 2.80×2.80m for 3-4 people, however this hasn’t really been enforced any time over the past 10 years. Some people have gigantic tents!)

Pros:

  • Most affordable option
  • Freedom to choose your spot (if you arrive early Thursday)
  • Access to all Dreamville facilities
  • Can bring as much alcohol (and food) as you want (no glass bottles though – transfer any drinks to plastic bottles)
  • Hands-down the best atmosphere. You’ll make great friends with your neighbors.

Cons:

  • You need to source and transport all camping gear yourself (or purchase on-site at the camping store)
  • First-come, first-served setup means tents can be right next to other campers.
  • Furthest walk to the festival (30-45 minutes depending on your spot)
  • Can get muddy if it rains
  • No power for charging devices
  • Noisiest area – people party all night and play music until early hours (bring earplugs and consider sleeping tablets)
  • Security concerns – It has been known that people might try to enter your tent when you’re not around. Buy a locker to store passports and other valuables (lockers are patrolled 24/7). Locking your tent is also a good option but not foolproof.

Our Take: This is a great option if you want the full Tomorrowland experience and atmosphere. Magnificent Greens is the best party area in Dreamville – you will make friends with your tent neighbors and have an incredible time. There are sometimes after parties in the campground and everyone is having a blast. I spent my first two editions of Tomorrowland in Magnificent Greens and probably had the most fun in any campsite in those two years. The atmosphere and community here is unmatched.

It does require your own camping gear, but that can be bought on-site at the camping store, brought from home, or purchased before you get to the festival (festival prices are more expensive, so buy beforehand if possible). These are also the cheapest tickets and the easiest to get as there are the most of this type of ticket available. If you want the authentic, wild, social Tomorrowland camping experience, Magnificent Greens is where it’s at. Just make sure to bring earplugs and invest in a locker for your valuables!

Magnificent Greens Tent Packages

📅 Price: Starting around €410-€480 per person including festival tickets (Global Journey is extra)
🏕️ What You Get: A spot in the general camping area plus a tent and camping gear to pick up when you arrive. You will pitch the tent yourself wherever you find space.
👥 Best For: Budget-conscious travelers who don’t have their own camping gear.
🔌 Power: No power outlets (power banks available for rent)
🔒 Storage: No locker included (can purchase separately)

This includes everything in the previously mentioned Magnificent Greens package, plus some extras.

Tomorrowland also offer Magnificent Greens tent packages for those who want to have their camping gear included. Upon arrival you will pick up your tent, sleeping bag and other camping supplies at the dedicated pick up spot. The tent is yours to keep after the festival (if you wish) along with the air mattresses, sleeping bags and pillows.

This is a great option for international travelers who can’t bring their own sleeping and camping gear with them.

Camp2Camp – Pre-Pitched Recycled Tents (Sustainable Option)

📅 Price: €500-600 per person including festival tickets (Global Journey is extra)
🏕️ Location: Inside Magnificent Greens (dedicated area)
👥 Best For: Eco-conscious campers who want convenience on a budget
🔌 Power: No power outlets
🔒 Storage: No locker included

Camp2Camp is located inside Magnificent Greens with its own dedicated area that only Camp2Camp ticket holders can access. This is Tomorrowland’s sustainable camping project using recycled tents.

What’s Included:

  • Pre-pitched recycled tent (cleaned and reused from previous events)
  • All necessary camping equipment inside: mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, etc.
  • Dedicated shower and toilet facilities only for Camp2Camp visitors
  • Shaded & covered areas provided nearby
  • Note: Tents are NOT all the same – there’s a variety of different tent shapes and sizes

Major Advantages:

  • Everything you need is already there – just show up
  • Dedicated showers and toilets – huge benefit as showers and toilets in general Magnificent Greens areas can get quite busy, especially mid-morning
  • Shorter wait times for showers
  • More sustainable/eco-friendly option
  • Less crowded facilities than regular Magnificent Greens

Important Restrictions:

  • No gazebos allowed in Camp2Camp area (shaded areas are provided instead)
  • As part of the sustainable project, you’re expected to keep your camping spot extra clean and sort your waste properly
  • More stringent cleanliness requirements than other areas

Our Take: This is actually a great middle ground between BYO camping and Easy Tents. You get all the equipment you need (no need to bring or buy anything), PLUS dedicated facilities with shorter lines. The recycled tent variety means you don’t know exactly what tent style you’re getting, but everything necessary is included. The dedicated showers alone make this worth considering – avoiding the mid-morning rush in general Magnificent Greens is a game changer. Just be prepared to maintain higher cleanliness standards and don’t plan on bringing a gazebo.

Friendship Garden – Groups of 10

📅 Price: €640-850 per person (10 people total)
🏕️ Location: Inside Magnificent Greens (dedicated area)
👥 Best For: Large groups of friends traveling together
🔌 Power: No power outlets
🔒 Storage: No locker included

UPDATE: Pre-registrations for 2026 are now closed. They had opened on December 8th 2025 at the same time as Tomorrowland pre-registration. The 2026 Friendship Garden pre-registration filled up in less than 48 hours and is now full.

Friendship Garden is located inside Magnificent Greens with a dedicated area that only Friendship Garden ticket holders can enter. There are a couple of levels to the friendship garden. The basic level only has a pre-pitched shelter, while Spectacular Friendship Garden included chairs with the shelter, and Supreme Friendship Garden includes pre-pitched tents for your group as well as the shelter and chairs.

The Friendship Garden requires separate pre-registration and has a separate sale. Once the pre-registrations are full, you can no longer register and Friendship Garden tickets are not available for those without a pre-registration.

What’s Included:

  • Dedicated 10m x 10m space for your group of 10
  • Private pre-pitched shelter for the group
  • Guarantee your whole crew camps together
  • You choose a unique name for your own friendship garden which is printed on a cloth bracelet for everybody in your group
  • Optional 10x chairs underneath the shelter (Spectacular Friendship Garden & Supreme Friendship Garden)
  • Optional 5x pre-pitched tents (Supreme Friendship Garden)

What You Need to Bring:

  • Your own tents for sleeping (it’s a BYO tent area apart from the group shelter) unless you opt for the Supreme Friendship Garden tickets
  • All camping gear (sleeping bags, mattresses, etc.) unless you opt for the Supreme Friendship Garden tickets

Pros:

  • Guaranteed space for your entire group, and room to move
  • Not camping right on top of/next to another tent like in Magnificent Greens.
  • Group shelter for hanging out
  • More organized than trying to find space together in regular Magnificent Greens
  • Own dedicated district house in the Friendship Garden
  • Dedicated shower and toilet facilities only open to those in the Friendship Garden

Cons:

  • Still need to bring your own sleeping tents and all gear
  • No power outlets
  • Cannot take the pre-pitched shelter home afterwards
  • Must be a group of 10. No more, no less.

Section #2: Easy Tents (Pre-Pitched Tents)

Easy Tents is a separate part of Dreamville with its own entrance located outside of Magnificent Greens. Easy Tent visitors can access both the Easy Tent area AND Magnificent Greens.

Entrance to Easy Tent camping area at Dreamville in Tomorrowland

Easy Tent

📅 Price: Around €600-700 per person (Global Journey is extra)
🏕️ What You Get: Pre-setup limited edition Tomorrowland tent with all gear
👥 Best For: International travelers without camping gear
🔌 Power: No power outlets
🔒 Storage: No locker included (can purchase separately)

Easy Tents is not as large as Magnificent Greens in terms of capacity, but it’s perfect for international travelers who don’t have camping gear with them. When you arrive at Dreamville, your tent is already set up and waiting for you in the dedicated Easy Tent area. Tents are assigned as you arrive – you don’t normally choose your specific location unless you arrive early and the staff let you.

What’s Included:

  • Limited edition Tomorrowland branded tent (265 x 265 x 205 cm)
  • Double inflatable air mattress (one large double to share)
  • Sleeping bags for 2 people
  • Pillows included
  • Night light
  • Mirror
  • Lock for your tent
  • You can take the tent and all gear home with you at the end (or just leave it there if you don’t want it)

Pros:

  • Zero setup required – just show up
  • Dedicated Easy Tent area with organized rows and space between tents
  • Access to both Easy Tent area AND Magnificent Greens
  • Closer to festival entrance than Magnificent Greens (20-30 minute walk)
  • Take home a limited edition Tomorrowland tent as a souvenir (if you want it)
  • Cheaper hot showers (2 pearls vs 3.5 pearls in Magnificent Greens)
  • Pillows included (unlike some other options)
  • Best for international travelers
  • Tents are assigned on arrival so no stress about finding a spot

Cons:

  • No power outlets (you’ll need power banks)
  • Can get muddy if it rains (grass floor)
  • No locker included (purchase separately and highly recommended for valuables)
  • Quieter atmosphere than Magnificent Greens (less party vibe)
  • Tents assigned on arrival – can’t choose your spot

Easy Tents are available for 2 or 4 people.

Spectacular Easy Tent

📅 Price: Around €800-900 per person (Global Journey is extra)
🏕️ What You Get: Everything in Easy Tent PLUS comfort upgrades
👥 Best For: Those who want convenience with extra comfort and rain protection
🔌 Power: YES – Power outlets included!
🔒 Storage: YES – Locker rental included!

This is the upgraded version of Easy Tent with some key improvements that make a huge difference. Important: Spectacular Easy Tents use the same tent as regular Easy Tents – the upgrades are in the flooring and amenities.

Additional Features Beyond Easy Tent:

  • Wooden plank floor covered in astroturf (game changer in rain – you don’t get too muddy or dusty!)
  • Power outlets in your tent (220V EU)
  • Locker rental included at the Easy Tent front desk
  • Two Dreamville camping chairs
  • Slightly better location
  • Same tent structure, same one large double air mattress with sleeping bags

Our Take: The wooden floor with astroturf alone is worth the upgrade. Belgium weather in July can be unpredictable, and having a dry, solid floor that won’t get muddy or dusty makes a massive difference. Add in power outlets and an included locker, and this is the best value option if your budget allows. The astroturf keeps everything clean and comfortable even when it rains.

Spectacular Easy Tents are available for 2 or 4 people.

Spectacular Easy Tent vs Easy Tent: Which Should You Choose?

This is one of the most common questions about Tomorrowland camping. Here’s the breakdown:

Choose Spectacular Easy Tent if:

  • You want to stay dry with the wooden floor + astroturf (no mud/dust)
  • You need power outlets to charge devices
  • You want an included locker for your valuables
  • The extra €200-300 per person is within budget
  • Rain is a concern (Belgium weather is unpredictable!)

Choose Regular Easy Tent if:

  • You’re on a tighter budget
  • You don’t mind using power banks for charging
  • You’re okay buying a separate locker
  • You can handle some mud if it rains
  • You want the same tent but without the premium features

Bottom Line: If you can afford it, Spectacular Easy Tent is worth every cent. The astro turf + wooden floor is a game-changer when it rains, and having power outlets eliminates the power bank hassle. The included locker is also valuable for securing passports and valuables. However, regular Easy Tent is still a great experience if you can’t get spectacular – you just need to be more prepared with power banks and purchase a locker separately.

We’d choose Spectacular Easy Tents every time. The power outlets and artificial turf are huge bonuses.

Supreme Easy Tent

📅 Price: Around €850 – €950 per person (Global Journey is extra)
🏕️ What You Get: A completely different tent from Easy/Spectacular with upgraded sleeping arrangements
👥 Best For: Those who want separate beds and extra comfort
🔌 Power: YES – Power outlets included
🔒 Storage: YES – Locker rental included

Important: Supreme Easy Tents are different tents altogether from Easy Tent and Spectacular Easy Tent. This is a significant upgrade.

What’s Included:

  • Different tent structure (not the standard Easy Tent)
  • Two single air mattress beds (separate beds, not one large double to share)
  • Proper bedding (not sleeping bags)
  • Power outlets (220V EU)
  • Locker rental included
  • Pillows included
  • On grass floor (like regular Easy Tents, not wooden)
  • All other Easy Tent amenities

Key Difference from Spectacular Easy Tent:

  • Supreme: Two separate single beds with bedding, on grass
  • Spectacular: One double air mattress with sleeping bags, on wooden floor with astroturf

Our Take: This is a step up in sleeping comfort with separate beds and real bedding instead of sleeping bags. However, you lose the wooden floor that Spectacular offers, so you’re on grass. Choose Supreme if separate beds and proper bedding are priorities. Choose Spectacular if staying dry with the wooden/artificial turf floor matters more. I’d probably still choose Spectacular Easy Tent vs Supreme Easy Tent given the choice.

Tomorrowland Easy Tent vs Magnificent Greens: Complete Comparison

Trying to decide between Easy Tent and Magnificent Greens camping? Here’s everything you need to know:

Price & Availability

  • Magnificent Greens: €410-480 per person (cheapest option, most tickets available)
  • Easy Tent: €600-700 per person (mid-range pricing, moderate availability)

Setup & Gear

  • Magnificent Greens: You bring your own tent and all camping gear (or buy on-site)
  • Easy Tent: Everything pre-setup and provided – just show up

Atmosphere & Vibe

  • Magnificent Greens: BEST PARTY ATMOSPHERE. Loud, social, after parties, make friends easily. This is the wild, authentic Tomorrowland camping experience. Expect music all night.
  • Easy Tent: Quieter, more organized, less party atmosphere. Not as wild but definitely still some partying. Better for sleep.

Location & Facilities

  • Magnificent Greens: 30-50 minute walk to festival (furthest), shared facilities
  • Easy Tent: 20-30 minute walk to festival (closer), dedicated facilities with shorter lines

Comfort & Weather

  • Magnificent Greens: Grass floor – can get very muddy if it rains
  • Easy Tent: Grass floor – also gets muddy in rain (upgrade to Spectacular for wooden floor)

Shower Costs

  • Magnificent Greens: 3.5 pearls per hot shower
  • Easy Tent: 2 pearls per hot shower (cheaper!)

Security

  • Magnificent Greens: Need to buy separate locker (highly recommended). Tent security concerns – people may try to enter when you’re not around.
  • Easy Tent: Need to buy separate locker. Same security situation – lock provided for tent.

Best For

  • Magnificent Greens: Budget travelers, those who want the full party experience, people who already have camping gear, those who want to make tons of friends and embrace the chaos
  • Easy Tent: International travelers without gear, those who want convenience, people who prefer some quiet, anyone who doesn’t want to deal with tent setup

Bottom Line: Magnificent Greens is the authentic, wild Dreamville experience – best atmosphere, most fun, cheapest price, but requires more effort and preparation. Easy Tent is the convenient middle ground – no setup stress, closer to festival, but more expensive and less party atmosphere. Both require buying a locker for valuables. If budget allows and you’re international, Easy Tent is the smart choice. If you want the real Tomorrowland camping party experience and don’t mind the hustle, Magnificent Greens is legendary.

Section #3: Montagoe (Glamping Luxury)

The Gathering – Thursday Night Opening Party

This is exclusive to Dreamville residents and worth the camping price alone. The Gathering runs throughout Thursday with DJs during the day, then world-famous headliners as the sun sets. The later performers are often suprises and not known until they appear on stage.

Past Performers Include:

  • Armin van Buuren
  • Afrojack
  • Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike
  • Charlotte De Witte
  • Tiësto
  • W&W
  • Nicky Romero

Location: The Gathering stage is located in Magnificent Greens, accessible to all Dreamville guests.

What to Know:

  • It’s essentially a full festival day
  • There are bars, or you can bring drinks from your campsite
  • VIP deck access for Spectacular Dream Lodge guests
  • Great way to meet your camping neighbors before the festival officially starts

Hot tip: As this party is in Dreamville, you can bring all your own drinks to The Gathering to save money on buying expensive festival drinks.

Tomorrowland Pearls – The Festival Currency

Dreamville and Tomorrowland operate on a cashless system using pearls.

How It Works:

  1. Load money onto your Tomorrowland bracelet
  2. Use bracelet to pay for everything by tapping
  3. In 2025, 1 pearl = €1.82. This increases slightly every year, so I’d expect it to be around €1.85-€1.87 for 1 Pearl in 2026.

Top-Up Options:

  • Online before or during the festival (recommended – skip lines and top up from anywhere)
  • Cash/card at kiosks in Dreamville and festival
  • ATMs throughout Dreamville

What You’ll Need Pearls For:

  • All food and drinks
  • Hot showers (unless in Montagoe)
  • Merchandise
  • Services (hair salon, massage, tattoo, etc.)
  • Lockers (if not included in your package)
  • Power bank rental

Budget Tips:

  • Load money online beforehand
  • Expect €100-150 per day for food, drinks, and incidentals
  • Any unused pearls can be refunded after the festival if you’ve loaded via a credit card at least once.

Lockers at Dreamville

Locker Banks:

  • Available throughout different areas of Dreamville
  • Can pre-purchase during voucher sale or buy on arrival (if available)
  • Size and price vary
  • Lockers are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED in Magnificent Greens to store passports and valuables – it has been known that people might try to enter your tent when you’re not around unfortunately. This is mainly an issue in Magnificent Greens.
  • Lockers are patrolled 24/7 for security

Included Lockers:

  • Spectacular Easy Tent: Locker rental included
  • Supreme Easy Tent: Locker rental included

Lockable Storage:

  • All Montagoe accommodation has lockable storage inside tents/cabanas or a locker at the montagoe reception area included with the ticket.

Power Outlets at Dreamville

Charging can be tricky at Tomorrowland. The basic tents and camping areas do not have power to tents. Spectacular Easy Tents and above with power inside their tents. You can also rent power banks at the festival., and swap them out for fresh ones when they have no charge left. There is a cost to this service however.

You must pay a deposit for the battery pack, and will get the deposit if you return it before the end of the festival.

NO POWER:

  • Magnificent Greens (all options)
  • Camp2Camp
  • Friendship Garden
  • Easy Tent (standard)

YES POWER:

  • Spectacular Easy Tent
  • Supreme Easy Tent
  • All Montagoe accommodation (Relax Room, Dream Lodge, Spectacular Dream Lodge, Cabana, Ensuite)
  • Mansions

If you need to charge devices and don’t have power: Bring multiple power banks or use paid power bank service in the marketplace or at district houses.

Check-In & Check-Out Times

Check-In:

  • Thursday: 11:00 AM at all entrances (though it opened earlier in some years).
  • Friday: 24/7 at all entrances

For Magnificent Greens (BYO Camping Areas)

Must Bring:

  • Tent (or purchase on-site at camping store)
  • Sleeping bag
  • Sleeping pad or air mattress
  • Pillow
  • Tent stakes and extra rope (Belgium wind!)
  • Tarp or rain cover

For Easy Tents

Included: Tent, air mattress (one large double to share for Easy/Spectacular, two separate singles for Supreme), sleeping bags (Easy/Spectacular) or bedding (Supreme), pillows, night light, mirror, lock
Still Need: Any extra comfort items you want

For Everyone – Camping Basics

  • Earplugs and eye mask (ESSENTIAL for sleep in Magnificent Greens – people party all night and play music until early hours. Consider bringing sleeping tablets too.)
  • Headlamp or flashlight (essential for night)
  • Tent repair tape/duct tape (fixes everything)
  • Trash bags (keep your area clean, especially important in Camp2Camp)
  • Zip ties (securing things in wind)

Clothing

  • Warm layers (July nights can be surprisingly cold in Belgium – bring hoodies/jacket. We normally sleep in sweatpants and hoodies inside our sleeping bags)
  • Rain gear (jacket and waterproof pants – Belgium rain is real)
  • Multiple pairs of shoes (boots for mud, sneakers for festival, flip-flops for showers)
  • Way more socks and underwear than you think (seriously, pack extras)
  • Swimsuit (for public showers if you’re adventurous)
  • Festival outfits (3+ full outfits plus backup)

Toiletries & Hygiene

  • Shower flip-flops (non-negotiable – showers get gross)
  • Quick-dry towel (microfiber is best)
  • Wet wipes (lifesaver when showers are closed)
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Sunscreen and after-sun
  • Basic first aid kit
  • Any prescription medications

Tech & Power

  • Multiple power banks (unless you have Spectacular Easy Tent or Montagoe)
  • Charging cables
  • Waterproof phone or phone case
  • Camera (waterproof if possible)

Food & Drink

  • Cooler bag (for drinks – no ice available but keeps things cool)
  • Snacks (granola bars, fruit, etc.)
  • Alcohol in plastic bottles (see tips below)

Comfort Items

  • Camping chairs (unless included in your package)
  • Small folding table
  • Deck of cards or games
  • Flag or banner (to mark your tent location – Dreamville is huge!)

Transportation

  • Rolling bag or wagon (the walk from shuttle/parking to your tent can be FAR)
  • Backpack for daily festival use
  • Fanny pack for valuables

Weather & What to Expect

July Weather in Belgium:

  • Average high: 22°C (72°F)
  • Average low: 13°C (55°F)
  • Rain is common – prepare for mud

Reality Check:

  • Days can be hot and sunny
  • Nights get surprisingly cold
  • Rain is likely at least one day
  • Wind can be strong (secure your tent!)
  • Morning dew makes everything damp

The Mud Situation: Tomorrowland has improved with wooden walkways everywhere, but if it rains, expect mud especially around the tents. This is why Spectacular Easy Tent’s wooden floor and artificial turf is so valuable – you have a dry platform. In Magnificent Greens during rain, it can get very muddy with so many people.

Bringing Alcohol to Dreamville – Important Tips

The Official Rules vs Reality:

  • The website states there is a limit on alcohol
  • In practice, this has never been enforced in my 10 years of attending
  • You can bring as much alcohol as you want

The Workaround (if needed): If staff were to start enforcing limits, you could walk through with alcohol, leave it with a friend just inside the entrance, then go back out and bring more in. It would be a a bit of a hassle but still doable. However, in reality, they let you bring in as much as you want.

Critical Rule – NO GLASS:

  • Absolutely no glass bottles allowed
  • If you purchase spirits or hard liquor in glass bottles, transfer or pour it into plastic bottles
  • Plastic bottles with vodka/rum/whiskey etc. are completely fine to bring in

What This Means: Stock up at duty free stores on your way or supermarkets before arriving at Dreamville (or the Carrefour supermarket in Rumst once you’re at Dreamville). You’ll save significant money versus buying all drinks on-site. Just make sure everything is in plastic containers.

Getting to Dreamville

By Train:

  • Nearest station: Boom
  • Free shuttle buses from Boom station to Dreamville entrance
  • From Brussels: Change at Antwerp, then to Boom

By Car:

  • Parking vouchers sold 1-2 months before festival
  • There are separate parking for Dreamville campers vs day ticket holders
  • Dreamville parking has two lots. One is near Dreamville Entrances 1 and the other next to Entrance 2.
  • If you’re in Montagoe, Easy Tents, Camp2Camp, Friendship Garden or the camping in the Orange District of Magnificent Greens, the closer parking is near Entrance 1. If you’re camping in the rest of Magnificent Greens area, the closer parking is Entrance 2.
  • Parking is NOT close/right next to your tent – prepare for a walk with all your gear. It is not possible to drive to the camping areas to drop your things off. You must walk with everything from the parking lots.
  • There are NO parking pass outs for cars at Dreamville. Once you’ve arrived, you have to stay to secure you spot. If you take your car outside the parking lot to drive somewhere, you’ll have to pay again to park (if there is space).

Transportation Tips:

  • Arrive Thursday early for best tent spots (Magnificent Greens BYO camping)
  • Easy Tent spots are pre-assigned
  • The walk from parking/shuttle to your actual camping spot can be significant – bring a wagon or rolling bag if you can.

Walking Distances to Festival

From Montagoe: 15 minutes
From Easy Tents: 15-20 minutes
From Magnificent Greens: 25-50 minutes depending on where your tent is located

If you’re in Magnificent Greens and arrive early Thursday, try to set up closer to the festival entrance to minimize daily walking.

Our Recommendations by Budget & Experience Level

Budget (€400-600 per person): Go for Magnificent Greens BYO if you have camping gear or can buy it on-site at the camping store. Most affordable but requires the most effort. Expect mud if it rains and bring power banks.

Best Value (€600-900 per person): Easy Tent is perfect for international travelers without camping gear. If budget allows, upgrade to Spectacular Easy Tent for the wooden floor with astroturf (stays dry and clean in rain), power outlets, and included locker. This is a great sweet spot. If you want separate beds and real bedding instead of sleeping bags, consider Supreme Easy Tent, though you’ll lose the wooden floor.

Comfortable (€1,000-1,500 per person): Relax Rooms or Dream Lodges in Montagoe give you real beds, lockable accommodation, and free showers. Great middle ground between camping and luxury. Remember you cannot visit Easy Tent friends though.

Luxury (€1,500-3,000+ per person): Cabanas or Ensuites for ultimate comfort with private facilities (Ensuite). Close to festival, secure, comfortable beds, and free showers.

Ultra Luxury ($25,000+ per person): Mansion if you’re in the 1%. Private house, hot tubs, private chef, air conditioning. For those where money is no object.

Tomorrowland Tips from 10 Years of Dreamville Experience

  1. Arrive Early Thursday – For Magnificent Greens BYO, early arrival means better spot selection near facilities and festival entrance. Less crowded too.
  2. Stock Up Before Arriving – Buy alcohol (in plastic bottles!), snacks, and drinks at a supermarket before coming to Dreamville. You’ll save a fortune.
  3. Make Friends with Your Neighbors – They’ll watch your tent, share supplies, and become festival family. Dreamville community is incredible.
  4. Bring WAY More Socks – You think you’ve packed enough. You haven’t. Bring triple what you think you need.
  5. Don’t Underestimate the Cold – Pack warm layers even though it’s July. Nights can be shockingly cold, and you’ll regret not bringing that hoodie.
  6. Prepare for Rain and Mud – Waterproof everything. Bring boots. Accept that mud will happen and embrace it.
  7. Mark Your Tent – Dreamville is massive and tents look similar, especially after dark. Flag, balloon, or unique decoration helps you find home.
  8. Plan Your Charging Strategy – If you don’t have power in your accommodation, bring multiple fully-charged power banks or budget for charging station fees.
  9. Use the Camping Store – Forgot something? Need to buy camping gear? The on-site camping store has everything.
  10. Take Advantage of Free BBQ Areas – Buy meat at Carrefour supermarket in Dreamville and cook it at the BBQ areas. Saves money and it’s fun.
  11. Explore Magnificent Greens – Even if you’re in Easy Tent or Montagoe, spend time in Magnificent Greens. That’s where The Gathering happens, where most of the shops and activities are, and where the best party atmosphere is.
  12. Respect the Monday 12 PM Checkout – You need to be out by noon on Monday. Pack up and leave on time.
