How to Register for Tomorrowland 2026 Tickets

📅 2026 Pre-Registration Date: December 8 15:00 CET (Central European Time)
🔑 Open to: Everybody

Each year, you are required to register your Tomorrowland account in advance if you want to purchase Tomorrowland 2026 tickets for the upcoming edition. Pre-registration for tickets allows you to have access to the general worldwide ticket sale and Global Journey sales when they become active, usually in January.

Pre-registration for Tomorrowland tickets 2026 typically happens in mid-December. Emails are sent out in the first week or two of December with pre-registration times and dates. For the best chance, you’ll need to be online at exactly the time pre-registration commences.

Pre-registration is required for anyone wanting to buy Tomorrowland tickets in the official ticket sales. To pre-register, create a free Tomorrowland user account, and then when pre-registration opens, go to the Tomorrowland website and in your account there is a button for pre-registration. Click this and follow the prompts (i.e. select your preferred weekend).

Tomorrowland NFT Sale

📅 Ticket Sale Date: Early December
🎫 2026 Ticket Sale: December 5, 2025 and December 8, 2025
🔑 Open to: NFT holders who own all 3 Tomorrowland NFTs (Medallion of Memoria)
👥 Maximum number of tickets: You can buy up to 2 Tomorrowland tickets per Medallion.

If you own all three of the Tomorrowland NFTs, you will have access to an exclusive sale before everyone else for Tomorrowland tickets. This usually goes on sale in early December – in 2024 for the 2025 edition of Tomorrowland the sale was on December 11, while for Tomorrowland 2026 pre-registration closed on November 30 and the sale is December 5.

In order to access the NFT sale, you must own 3 NFTs minted by Tomorrowland in order to complete the ‘Medallion of Memoria.’ These can be bought, though there is a cost. Prices are based on SOL cryptocurrency and fluctuate throughout the year. The current approximate cost for obtaining all three NFTs is €3000-€4000, and does not include your Tomorrowland ticket price. This only gets you access to this sale.

Previously NFT holders could access up to 6 tickets to Tomorrowland. In recent years this has been reduced to 4 tickets and now from 2026 onwards it only gives access to 2 tickets.

The NFT Sale is actually two sales on different dates. It consists of the NFT Global Journey sale (where you can buy Global Journey tickets with transport included) and the regular NFT Sale (which includes tickets to Tomorrowland only – no transport).

The NFT sale is the very first ticket sale and one of the best methods to guarantee tickets, but there is a cost to obtain all three NFTs. Then you need to buy tickets on top of that so it is an expensive exercise. If you do plan on going multiple years, want to be assured tickets and have money to burn it may be worth it.

Tomorrowland First 20 Sale

📅 Ticket Sale Date: Mid-December
🎫 2026 Ticket Sale: December 15, 2025 15:00 CET
🔑 Open to: The first 20 people from each country who pre-register
👥 Maximum number of tickets: You can buy up to 4 Tomorrowland tickets in the First 20 sale.

As part of pre-registration, the first 20 people to register from each country will get access to a special First 20 sale (or also called Top 20 sale) where they will have the opportunity to purchase Tomorrowland tickets at a discounted rate.

Accommodation options are often limited in the First 20 Sale. In previous years the only Dreamville accommodations available were Magnificent Greens (regular camping) and Easy Tents. No Montagoe options were available.

Pre-registration usually happens in mid-December. Emails are sent out in the first week or two of December with pre-registration times and dates. For the best chance, you’ll need to be online at exactly the time pre-registration commences. This one is very difficult to get, especially if you’re from popular countries.

If you do get lucky and are invited to the First 20 sale, this does not guarantee tickets, it merely grants you access to the First 20 sale where there is less competition for tickets.

Note: You must be situated in the country you’re registered from. Workarounds like VPNs do not work as they cross-reference your mailing address and passport, so don’t bother trying to register as a citizen of a smaller country as it won’t work.

Tomorrowland Global Journey Pre-Sale

📅 Ticket Sale Date: Mid-December
🎫 2026 Ticket Sale: December 15, 2025 15:00 CET
🔑 Open to: Anyone who purchased Global Journey tickets the previous year
👥 Maximum number of tickets: You can buy up to 6 Global Journey (Tomorrowland) tickets at a time

From the 2024 edition of Tomorrowland onwards, the team at Tomorrowland started to reward the loyalty of those who had been before. Anyone who had purchased a Global Journey ticket the year before had access to an exclusive pre-sale of Global Journey tickets. This sale typically has less people than the regular Global Journey sale as it is only available to certain people, unlike the regular sale which anybody can access.

While for Tomorrowland 2024 this was somewhat easy as it was more unknown and unexpected, in the 2025 sale this was noticeably harder to get tickets in the Global Journey pre-sale. It seems the 2024 sale was unexpected so less people were aware of it and didn’t read it in their email. In 2025 the secret was out and Tomorrowland tickets sold out much faster.

In 2026 the Global Journey Pre-Sale was the most difficult one yet of its type. It sold out very quickly and demand was extremely high.

Tomorrowland Global Journey Tickets

📅 Ticket Sale Date: Mid January
🎫 2026 Ticket Sale: January 17, 2026 17:00 CET
🔑 Open to: Anyone who has pre-registered
👥 Maximum number of tickets: You can buy up to 6 Global Journey (Tomorrowland) tickets at a time

The Global Journey ticket sale happens in January and is our recommended way to get Tomorrowland tickets. Aside from the NFT sale, it is the best way to guarantee official tickets to Tomorrowland. Global Journey tickets include transport (train, plane or bus) from somewhere around the world. It can be as close as London, Paris or Amsterdam or as far away as Vancouver, New York, Buenos Aires, or Singapore. Departure cities do vary each year, though many are often the same.

You will get to choose your method of travel and departure city during the sale. Personally, we often choose the closest departures to Belgium (France, Netherlands, Germany or United Kingdom) and travel there ahead of time, so that any travel delays are minimized and the risk of missing the festival because of a delayed flight or transport connection is low.

Global Journey tickets usually go on sale towards the end of January. It requires pre-registration so make sure you register. While more expensive than regular Tomorrowland festival tickets, it is an excellent way to secure your tickets.

Prior to the global journey sale, Tomorrowland will put up a simulator of the ticket shop – basically a preview of how it will look. With the simulator you can see your options for departure cities, dates & times as well as accommodation options and pricing. This is a great way to figure our your top choices for when the sale goes live. Just remember – things often sell out quickly, so make sure you are flexible.

The Global Journey Simulator can be found here at this link, however it only goes live a few weeks before the sale (usually December) and goes offline after the ticket sale in January, so don’t be surprised if the website does not work at other times of the year.

Just be sure to be online when the sale commences, know exactly what transport and accommodation packages you want, and be flexible with backup plans as things sell out very quickly.

In 2026 the Global Journey Sale was much harder to get than previous years. It sold out within about 4 hours and many people waiting in the queue did not even get the chance to enter the shop. It sold out quickly and demand was very high.

Tomorrowland Belgian Sale

📅 Ticket Sale Date: Late January
🎫 2026 Ticket Sale: January 24, 2025 17:00 CET
🔑 Open to: Citizens of Belgium only
👥 Maximum number of tickets: You can buy up to 4 Tomorrowland tickets at a time

Tomorrowland is held in Belgium every year and has a sale exclusively for Belgians to try to obtain tickets, usually on the same day as the Worldwide Pre-Sale. However you must be a citizen of Belgium and have your nationality in your Tomorrowland account registered as Belgium to have this access.

Like the Worldwide Sale and Worldwide Pre-Sale, these tickets do not include accommodation or transport (other than Dreamville).

Also like the Worldwide Sale and Worldwide Pre-Sale, these tickets can be a lottery and very difficult to get even for Belgians. You need to be a Belgian citizen and a lot of luck to get a ticket via this method.

While you must use your Belgian home address for where your bracelets will be shipped to, you do not need to use a Belgian bank account for purchasing the tickets.

Tomorrowland Worldwide Pre-Sale

📅 Ticket Sale Date: Late January
🎫 2026 Ticket Sale: January 24, 2025 17:00 CET
🔑 Open to: Anyone who has pre-registered
👥 Maximum number of tickets: You can buy up to 4 Tomorrowland tickets at a time

The Worldwide presale usually goes on sale towards the end of January each year. In order to access this sale you need to pre-register. That is, have a Tomorrowland account (free to sign up) and click the ‘register’ button in your account to register your interest to buy Tomorrowland tickets.

The Worldwide Presale differs from the Global Journey ticket sale in that it does not include transport options such as plane, train or bus tickets to the festival. This sale also does not sell hotel packages – these are part of the Global Journey sale.

While hotel packages are not available, Dreamville packages without transportation are available to buy. Dreamville is Tomorrowland’s camping city.

The Worldwide Presale is very difficult to get Tomorrowland tickets. It sells out almost instantly and you need to be very fortunate to get tickets through this method. It is essentially a lottery – you need a great deal of luck.

Tomorrowland Worldwide Ticket Sale

📅 Ticket Sale Date: Late January (Usually one week after Worldwide Presale)
🎫 2026 Ticket Sale: January 31, 2025 17:00 CET
🔑 Open to: Anyone who has pre-registered
👥 Maximum number of tickets: You can buy up to 4 Tomorrowland tickets at a time

The Worldwide Ticket Sale is basically the same as the Worldwide Pre-sale. Tickets usually go on sale a week after the Worldwide Pre-sale. The only real difference is the Pre-sale has slightly cheaper Tomorrowland ticket prices.

Like the Worldwide Pre-sale, getting Tomorrowland tickets in this sale is extremely hard. If you are serious about traveling to Tomorrowland Belgium, this should not be your first option. Tickets sell out in moments and once they’re gone, there are no further official Tomorrowland ticket sales. Honestly – it is near impossible to get tickets through this sale. While I’ve never personally known anyone to get tickets in this sale, people obviously do get them.

Ticket Personalization and Name Changes

Once you’ve successfully purchased your Tomorrowland tickets, there’s one crucial step you cannot skip: ticket personalization. Failure to personalize your tickets can result in cancellation of your entire order.

What is Ticket Personalization?

Personalization requires assigning each ticket to a specific individual by providing their full name, email address, and nationality. If the ticket holder’s name doesn’t match their ID at festival entry, Tomorrowland can deny access. This strict policy exists to prevent ticket scalping and ensure festival security.

The personalization deadline is included in your confirmation email from Paylogic (Tomorrowland’s ticketing partner). This deadline is typically several weeks or months after purchase, but varies depending on which sale you bought tickets from.

Who Needs to Personalize Tickets?

The answer depends on which type of ticket you purchased:

Worldwide Sale & Belgian Sale Tickets: The main buyer must personalize all tickets purchased on their order through the “Manage My Booking” platform. Each person attending needs their information entered separately.

Global Journey Packages: You don’t need to personalize Global Journey tickets separately, as Tomorrowland handles personalization automatically using the data you provided during purchase. So, personalization is done during the checkout process for Global Journey.

Important: If you fail to personalize your tickets by the deadline, Tomorrowland reserves the right to cancel your order. If this happens, the main buyer receives a refund of the ticket price minus a ticket refund fee.

Can You Change Names After Personalization?

The rules around name changes are strict but there are some options available:

Before the Personalization Deadline: You can change names as many times as you need at no cost, as long as you do so before the personalization deadline closes. This is your window to make any necessary changes if someone in your group can no longer attend.

After the Personalization Deadline: Name changes are theoretically not possible after the personalization deadline passes through the standard process, according to Tomorrowland’s terms and conditions. However, Tomorrowland has historically offered a paid name change service for €350 per name change. This service is typically available for a limited time (often until late April or early May) and must be requested through Tomorrowland’s official channels.

Keep in mind that the €350 name change fee is per person, so if multiple people in your group can no longer attend, this can become quite expensive. The availability of this paid name change service can also vary by year and ticket type, so check your confirmation email and the Tomorrowland FAQ for the most current information.

ID Checks at Tomorrowland

While Tomorrowland’s official policy states that ID verification is mandatory, the reality on the ground is somewhat different based on our 10 years of attending the festival. Here’s what actually happens:

Festival Entrance: Tomorrowland does not check IDs against bracelet names when you enter the festival grounds. You simply scan your bracelet and walk in. As long as you have a valid bracelet you will be let in.

There is a security screening prior to the bracelet entry scan but they are just searching for weapons and other banned items – no ID checks).

Magnificent Greens (Regular Camping): If you’re staying in Magnificent Greens and setting up your own tent in the regular camping area, they do not check IDs at any point during check-in or throughout your stay.

Pre-Pitched Tents (2-Person and 4-Person Easy Tents): When checking in for pre-pitched tents like Easy Tents, Camp2Camp and Friendship Garden, you have two options to verify your reservation: you can either show the accommodation voucher that Tomorrowland emails you closer to July, or you can show your ID/passport which is linked to your ticket.

Here’s the key detail: only the first person needs to show their ID or voucher. If you have a 2-person tent, only one person needs to verify. The same applies to 4-person tents. In practice, this means that if someone in your group can’t attend and you have a friend join instead, they typically don’t need matching ID for the second (or third/fourth) spot in the tent.

Premium Dreamville Accommodations (Montagoe): For higher-tier Montagoe accommodations like Dreamlodges, Cabanas, and Mansions, ID checks can be more thorough. Some accommodations also require a deposit and have keyed locks. However, enforcement can still vary.

Friendship Garden and Camp2Camp: These accommodations may also verify that your name matches your reservation, though again, typically only the first person in the group needs to show documentation.

Hotel Packages: If you booked a Global Journey package with hotel accommodation through Tomorrowland, your name absolutely must match the hotel reservation. Hotels will check your ID at check-in, and there’s no way around this.

Global Journey Transport:

If you’ve booked Global Journey packages, the ID verification varies by transport type:

  • Plane tickets: Airlines will verify your ID matches your ticket when boarding. There’s no way around this – name changes are essential if you’re flying.
  • Train tickets: While there are no ID checks on the train itself and so you can easily get on the train with just the train ticket (without showing ID), they do verify IDs at the Global Journey booth in Brussels when you disembark and pick up your global journey bracelet and goodie bag. However, there’s a workaround: you’re not obligated to use your Global Journey transport. If you skip the Brussels booth and find your own transport from Brussels to Tomorrowland instead, you can avoid this ID check entirely.
  • Bus packages: They check IDs before giving you your wristband to board the bus. Again, you’re not obligated to take your Global Journey transport. If you decide to drive yourself (or arrange other transport) to Tomorrowland instead of using the bus, you’ll skip the ID check entirely.

Important Note About Skipping Global Journey Transport: If you choose not to use your included Global Journey transport (whether train or bus), you’ll need to arrange your own way to get to Tomorrowland and pick up your bracelet at the festival. This adds complexity but can be a solution if you need to bring someone whose name doesn’t match the ticket and you don’t want to pay the €350 name change fee. However there are no ill-effects if you skip your Global Journey transport. You can safely miss your train, plane or bus and there will be no repercussions.

One Important Caveat – Will Call Desk: Here’s where having the correct name on your bracelet becomes critical. If your wristband gets stolen, lost, damaged, or malfunctions and needs to be replaced, you’ll need to visit the Will Call desk. Staff there will verify your ID against the bracelet name before issuing a replacement. If the names don’t match, you could face significant problems getting a new bracelet.

Should You Pay €350 for a Name Change?

After 10 years of attending Tomorrowland, here’s our honest recommendation: while it does depend heavily on your situation, the €350 fee is steep enough that we’ve skipped it multiple times and given bracelets to friends with zero issues.

When You Absolutely Need to Change Names:

  • Global Journey packages with plane tickets ONLY IF you intend to take the flight (airlines will verify IDs – no workaround). If you do not plan on taking the flight and get your own transport to Tomorrowland then you won’t necessarily need to perform a name change.
  • Hotel packages (hotels will verify IDs at check-in – no workaround)
  • If you’re worried about needing a bracelet replacement at the service desk

When You Can Probably Skip the €350 Fee:

  • Magnificent Greens camping (no ID checks at all)
  • Easy Tents where the main buyer is still attending (only first person’s ID checked)
  • Global Journey packages with train or bus transport IF you’re willing to skip the provided transport and make your own way to Tomorrowland
  • Regular festival tickets without accommodation, where the main buyer is attending but giving other tickets to different people

Our Experience: Over the years, we’ve had plenty of instances where we didn’t change ticket names and had zero issues. Friends have attended on bracelets with different names without any problems. The reality is that Tomorrowland’s enforcement of this policy is minimal in most situations – especially if you’re willing to be flexible with transport arrangements.

The Gamble: That said, Tomorrowland could theoretically start checking or enforcing at any point. It’s a gamble. However, given the steep €350 price tag and our consistent experience over a decade, we would personally continue to roll the dice on this one – especially for Magnificent Greens camping or Easy Tents where the main ticket holder is still attending.

If you’re risk-averse or booking premium accommodations with flights, pay for the name change. If you’re camping in Magnificent Greens or willing to arrange your own transport instead of using Global Journey trains/buses, the practical reality is you’ll likely be fine without it.

What About Small Typos in Tickets?

Small spelling mistakes in names should not cause problems at the entrance. However, if you notice a significant error in someone’s name, contact Tomorrowland support immediately through the contact form on their FAQ page. For typos in your address or other non-name details, you can usually update these directly in your account settings.

Key Personalization Tips

Double-Check Everything: Verify that names are spelled exactly as they appear on government-issued IDs. Even if checks aren’t universal, it’s better to be accurate.

Keep Confirmation Emails: Save all confirmation emails from both your ticket purchase and personalization. These contain important details about your order, deadlines, and information about name change procedures.

Save Your Accommodation Voucher: Tomorrowland will send you an accommodation voucher closer to the festival in July. Keep this handy on your phone or printed out, as it can be used instead of ID for Dreamville check-in.

Leave Your ID in a Safe Place: You will not be asked for ID at the festival entrance or during the event, so leave your passport or ID at home or locked up at your accommodation to keep it safe. However, make sure you have a photo or copy of it saved on your phone just in case you need it at the Will Call desk for bracelet replacement.

Assess Your Risk: Consider your accommodation type and transport method before paying €350 for a name change. If you’re flying or staying in a hotel, you need the name change. If you’re camping in Magnificent Greens or taking a train/bus but willing to skip the Global Journey transport and arrange your own way there, the practical risk is much lower.

Global Journey Transport Flexibility: Remember that Global Journey packages don’t actually require you to use the provided transport. I’ve bought Global Journey bus packages just for the tickets and simply hired a car and driven to the festival instead. If avoiding ID checks is important to you, consider making your own travel arrangements to Belgium and picking up your bracelet at the festival.

Plan for Changes: If you suspect someone in your group might not be able to attend, consider waiting to personalize until you’re more certain, but don’t wait so long that you miss the deadline entirely.

Can’t Attend After the Name Change Window Closes? If someone in your group can no longer attend and both the personalization deadline and paid name change window have passed, you can either give the bracelet to a friend (accepting the small risk) or sell your tickets back to Tomorrowland through their Exchange Desk (usually available from Feb to late April), where they’ll be offered to people on the waiting list.

Remember: Personalization itself is mandatory – failure to personalize at all will result in order cancellation. But whether you pay €350 to change a name after the deadline is a decision that depends on your specific circumstances. We’ve given you the honest reality based on a decade of experience – now you can make an informed choice about what works for your situation.

What To Do If Tomorrowland Tickets Are Sold Out

While Tomorrowland will sell out in seconds and is now officially sold out for 2026, don’t despair if you don’t have tickets through the Tomorrowland website – there are still ways to get tickets!

Tomorrowland Waiting List

Tomorrowland does have an official to buy & sell tickets. If someone no longer wishes to attend Tomorrowland, they can upload their tickets to the Tomorrowland Exchange Desk by the end of April.

Tomorrowland themselves will then offer these tickets to people on the Waiting List. Tickets are often released in waves, and can be both Global Journey packages or normal festival tickets.

The waiting list for Tomorrowland only becomes active once all tickets to the festival (including all global journey packages) are sold out. Given this usually happens shortly after tickets go on sale, this is usually early February. The waiting list is now active on Tomorrowland’s website and can be accessed by logging into your account. A link to join the waiting list will appear in your Tomorrowland Account once the sale is sold out, provided you were not able to buy any tickets on your Tomorrowland account.

Keep an eye on your email inbox for any opportunities to buy tickets. They could come at any time, even right up until the day before the festival (though usually February through to May).

Like the regular sale, the waiting list sales move fast. You must be ready to go to purchase tickets as soon as you are notified to have any chance of getting tickets. These waves of tickets released to the waiting list usually happen in April and May – the dates vary each year.

Official Tomorrowland Ticket Resellers

There are some companies that offer Tomorrowland tickets as part of travel packages. These are official resellers and are safe to use. The list of Official Travel Partners can be found on the Tomorrowland website here: https://belgium.tomorrowland.com/en/sales-info/official-travel-partners/.

Sales via Official Tomorrowland Travel Partners start February 1, 2026.

There are official ticket partners in different regions including Australia, Europe, South America and Asia. This does not necessarily mean you need to stick to your own region though. For example, someone from Australia or the United States could use ticketing partners based in the United Kingdom.

However as you will need to meet with the travel companies/groups to obtain your tickets, it’s probably a good idea to at least speak the same language as whichever region or company you go through.

There are some downsides to these tickets:

  • Not as many accommodation options (no Montagoe options for Dreamville)
  • Tickets will come from the travel partner rather than Tomorrowland, so you are dealing with a third party
  • There is a markup so they can be more expensive than regular tickets, but given the scarcity of regular tickets it’s a small price to pay

The good news is you can rest easy knowing the tickets are real and official, so it’s a good method to buy Tomorrowland tickets if you miss out during the other sales.

Some companies we know of people using:

  • Festigo
  • Rave Tours
  • P1 Travel

Buying Tomorrowland Tickets from Unofficial Resellers

Failing all this, there are still ways to get Tomorrowland tickets. However with the amount of scams around you must be careful.

In 2016, my group bought Tomorrowland tickets off eBay. In hindsight, it was maybe not the smartest move as we had zero guarantees for the tickets. But we were naive and very luckily for us, we were not scammed and we picked up the tickets from the seller in Amsterdam before the festival. However I would urge caution if using this method.

One good website to use is Viagogo. As a reseller site, they have numerous options for tickets – but only weekend tickets, day tickets and Dreamville tickets for regular camping (also known as Magnificent Greens), not hotel or Global Journey packages. Viagogo also have a guarantee that the tickets are real. If they are not (and this can happen from time to time) they will refund your money, which gives some peace of mind. If that happens and you’re at the Tomorrowland gates with a scam ticket, you can phone them and let them know and they will try to find a solution or they’ll refund you and you can buy another ticket on the platform.

Personally if I missed out on tickets through official channels and the festival was sold out, this is the method I would use to buy Tomorrowland tickets. I know plenty of people who have bought tickets using this site.

One advantage of these tickets is they don’t require pre-registration and don’t require you to be online or committed to buying Tomorrowland tickets in December/January. You can also buy tickets right up until the day which is of course a major positive.

As a ticket re-selling site, ticket prices will fluctuate up and down heavily, so monitor the prices on the site.

Buying Tickets Through Social Media

Many people try to sell Tomorrowland tickets on social media like Facebook. Most of these are scams so be extremely careful if you try to go down this route.

Many of the general Tomorrowland 2026 groups on Facebook are full of fraudulent ticket opportunities so tread lightly and exercise restraint. Like any other event, people are looking for opportunities to make a quick buck against unsuspecting and desperate people. Try not to fall into this trap.

While it’s true that some of these can be genuine and legitimate ticket sellers, be extremely careful. You have no assurances, guarantees or avenues for refunds if something goes wrong. Buying tickets via Facebook or other social media would be the last place I would buy tickets from personally.

Tips for Buying Tomorrowland Tickets Successfully

Getting Tomorrowland tickets requires more than just showing up when the sale starts. Here are our top tips from years of experience to maximize your chances of success:

Prepare Your Payment Method

Ensure you have enough space on your credit card and notify your bank that you will be making a large purchase. If the payment doesn’t go through, you will lose the tickets immediately. This is one of the most heartbreaking ways to miss out – getting all the way to checkout only to have your payment declined. Call your bank beforehand and let them know you’ll be making an international purchase to Tomorrowland.

Block Out Your Schedule

When Tomorrowland tickets go on sale, set aside a few hours. If you’re lucky you’ll get into the ticket shop straight away and be done in 15 minutes. Other times you will be waiting a long time – sometimes several hours. In 2020 we were online for about 6 hours waiting in the queue with multiple website crashes while trying to secure tickets. Don’t plan anything else during this time. Make sure you have a stable internet connection and a backup device ready just in case.

The Global Journey sale in 2026 sold out in a matter of about 4 hours. Many people waited in the queue for this entire time, only to to be told out it was sold out hours later. Ensure you have the time to wait in the queue.

Be Certain Of The Time Difference

If you live in Europe, you won’t have much of a time difference to contend with. However for everyone else around the world, the time difference can be brutal. It can be late at night or very early in the morning in some parts of the world.

Before the sale, make certain you know what time zone you are in compared to Central European. The last thing you want to do is miss the ticket sale because you thought it started an hour later!

Have a Plan (and Backup Plans)

Have a plan of what you tickets and packages you aim to get, and have a backup plan or multiple backup plans. Be flexible. Know exactly which Global Journey package you want, but also have your second and third choices ready. If you’re buying Dreamville camping, know which tier you want but be ready to grab whatever is available. The worst thing you can do is get into the shop and waste time deciding – tickets sell out while you’re thinking.

The 10-Minute Checkout Rule

Once you’re in the shop you have 10 minutes to complete checkout. After that you will get kicked out and have to re-join the queue at the back of the line. This means you need to move quickly and decisively. Have your payment information ready to copy and paste. Don’t browse – execute your plan.

Understand the Virtual Queue

The virtual queue is supposedly random in theory, so it doesn’t matter when you join the queue as long as you join before the sale starts. Tomorrowland claims everyone who enters before the sale begins has an equal chance.

In practice this might be true, but also sometimes it pays to get in the queue a little earlier. 30-45 minutes before the sale starts is what we normally do. While it may not give you a better position, it ensures you’re definitely in the queue and there are no last-minute technical issues with your browser or internet connection.

Be Aware of the Ticket Limits

Each sale has a maximum number of tickets you can buy on each Tomorrowland account. For the Global Journey sale, the maximum is 6 tickets. The NFT sale has a maximum of 2 tickets, and the Worldwide sales have a maximum of 4 tickets.

You can only buy up to this limit in one transaction. However once you have made your purchase, it is possible to go back into the store after waiting in the queue and purchase more tickets.

So it is technically possible to buy more than the limit. However Tomorrowland does check and go through this (they can do this weeks/months later). If you are found to have bought more tickets than allowed on your account, all of your tickets on your account will be cancelled and refunded. You will have no way to get these tickets back – so be careful and ensure you stay within the ticket limits.

However – you can buy multiple tickets for your group across multiple Tomorrowland accounts. For example, you can buy 4 tickets on your account and your friend can buy 4 tickets on their Tomorrowland account. As long as they are bought with different Tomorrowland accounts, this is allowed.

Final Tip: Stay Calm

It’s stressful watching that shop webpage and waiting, with no indication at all when you might be let into the shop. Stay calm, don’t refresh the page (it won’t help and might kick you out), and trust the process. Many people get tickets – and it could be you!
